The TVA Retirement System recently accepted nominations for a three-year term as an elected member of the TVARS board. At the close of the nominations period, the only nominating petition received was for Ben Stansberry, Facilities-CAO, Knoxville. The TVARS rules and regulations state in the event only one person is nominated for the director position to be filled, the board may declare such nominee elected without the necessity of formal balloting by the membership. The TVA Retirement System will accept nominations now through Monday, July 6, for a three-year term as an elected member of the TVARS board of directors. The term runs from Nov. 1, 2026, through Oct. 31, 2029. Employees who are TVARS members are eligible to run for election. This includes employees hired on or after July 1, 2014, whose retirement benefits are in the 401(k) Plan.
